The difference between the KW 900 models

Question:
Can anyone tell me the difference between the KW W900, the W900L, and the W900B?
You can never have too much horsepower!

Answer:

The W900 was the earlier of the group(round headlights, rounded edges on the top of the grill)built up to 1983,I believe. The W900B is what replaced it.The W900L has the longer, narrower hood. They started with them in the early "90's.I'm sure if I have made a mistake some one will make sure it is corrected.

Answer:

They still make the W900. Its the W900A they dont make anymore that had the round headlights. They still make the W900B and of course the W900L.
I believe the only differences between the 3 are hood sizes. W900L being the longest at 130"BBC
I dont know the other BBC of the other 2.

Answer:

The W900S and the W900B have a 120" BBC. The W900L has a 130" BBC. The W900S, a vocational car chassis, has the T800's sloped hood but the set-forward (28" bumper setting) front axle for maximum bridge length. The W900S comes standard with a 950 square-inch radiator and a different steering gear arrangement than the W900B and W900L for sharper steering. The W900B and W900L come standard with a 1250 square-inch radiator and a 30" set-forward front axle. I believe the W900B can be ordered with a 1430 square-inch radiator as well. I believe the W900S can be had only with the two-piece flat windshield, but the W900B and W900L can be had with either a flat windshield or a curved windshield.

Answer:

Thank you for getting back to me so soon on that. Great information,
You can never have too much horsepower!

Answer:

The W900B Model was introduced in 1982, and the early ones had some carryover interior parts from the W900A. The W900B had a newly designed and bigger cab,and different hood with square headlights and differnt grille, but used the same doors as the W900A, but with a better door seal.
